Nikao Imani Productions has produced many events during its ten-year existence. Productions have ranged from stage plays, to short films, and community events..

Healthy is the New wealthy!

EPMcKnight is a graduate of  Grand Canyon University with a PhD in Performance Psychology, and Fordham University Lincoln Center, New York City where she received her Masters Degree in Educational Psychology.  Ms. McKnight wears many titles:  Elementary Teacher, Motivational Speaker, Fitness Instructor, Playwright, Author, Actress, Talk Show Host, Producer, Director and Child of God!   Also, she is an innovator and founder of   Nikao Imani Productions, a non-profit company that champions Breast Cancer Survirors  and distribute monthly “The  Angel Traveling Gift Basket” with donations from Ralphs, Target, Sprouts, 99Cents Store and individual supporters.

 

As a playwright, Ms. McKnight most recently wrote and produced “And Still I Rise-The Rainbow Ladies Who Chose Life When Death Knocked” Mydaddy Place”, “The Trial of Scottsboro Alabama”, “Menpause”, Catch The Sprit, and many others.   As a poet and author, she has penned “Joy365” and “Words ‘N’ Action” and is an Amazon #1 Best Selling Author.

 

 As an actress, she was most recently seen on “General Hospital” as Ms. Blackwood and has extensive credits in film, TV, theatre and commercials. Some commercials are CareerBuilder.com and Dasani Water, and TV, ER, Passions, etc and Film, Zodiac, Rat Race, etc, and theatre credits, To Kill A Mockingbird, Fences, Crucible, etc. 

 

Nationally, for twenty years, university, colleges, schools and private organization have produced Ms. McKnight’s  three One Person Shows, “I Question America-Legacy of Mrs. Fannie Lou Hamer”,  “With Grace I Stand-Legacy of Bessie Coleman, Barbara Jordan, Shirley Chisholm, Madame CJ Walker, Thea Bowman, Mary E. Pleasant, and Mary Church Terrell”,  and “Own My Own Terms-Legacy of Nina Simone.”

 

 
Currently she will be seen in  Cradle Swapping, CainAbel, Thick Water, Domme, Dream, Stronger Than Pretty, The Funeral Flowers, and  is honored to be among the cast of  Ferguson. Ms. McKnight was recently seen in, Er: The Resurrection,  Foxx Follies Theatre  production of  “Living Fat, Vagina Monologue and in her latest play, “And Still I Rise-The Rainbow Ladies Who Choose Life When Death Knocked!” All praises to God.
